Little Miss Georgia

Here is my newest little friend; Georgia....a truly adorable and happy baby! Although the day that I was taking pictures she was a tad bit grumpy, as you can notice in most of the pictures (my little grumpy bear). Thank you Becca for allowing me to take pictures of your sweet baby girl; what a little model! Here are some of my favourites, but it was hard to narrow them down, so there will be quite a few (and many of more of this little one). Enjoy!

Blowing bubbles and playing with her butterfly

Little bubble monster...she had me laughing as she just kept blowing them bigger and bigger.

Oh sleepy girl....

Mommy and Miss G cuddles

LOVE LOVE LOVE baby feet and I couldn't resist taking a few shots of little feet

Had to do the token baby feet and wedding ring shot; sorry, but too precious to pass up.

And here is my little grumpy bear...

Again the little bubble machine

One of my faves...love the tongue (her daddy taught her to stick it out)

Love the slobber dripping down her face and the big blue eyes...what a cutie!

Again...love the drool.

Sleepy bear

Passed out cold in my arms cuddling, and had to take a pic. Plus Becca said she looks just like her grandpa and wanted to catch a shot for her.

Thanks again Becca, you definitely will not be having a lack of pictures of this child :)

My New Project...Photo Names...LOVE IT!!!

My sister has been talking about taking some pictures that spell out her family's last name, and the first time she talked about it in Florida I thought it was a neat idea that I'd like to try out. Then on Monday we chatted about it again, and it sparked my interest. All week long I have been seeing things out in the world and think "oh that could be a letter C, or ohh there's a D" and so on; it's pretty much been running my life this week. I told her on Monday that my plan was to go out on Saturday to try to 'find' items that may look or make up letters of her name. So today Atticus and I ventured out in the sunny but chilly morning to Sunnidale Park in Barrie (which is a wonderful spot to walk and Atti loves it there). I got right into this 'new project' of mine inspired by Michelle, and when we were done there we jumped into the car and hit downtown Barrie and the waterfront. About four hours later we were heading home full of excitement to edit and a bit sore from all the walking (Atti's crashed out on the couch as I type). So here is the end result...I'm quite excited about it and now have a feeling that I'll be taking a LOT more pictures of letters and everyone I know will have their last names hanging in their homes!

Hike with the Three Musketeers

On a beautiful and sunny Saturday Hailey and I decide on a hike through Simcoe County Forest with our pups: Atticus (German Shepherd), Paige aka Princess Paige (Great Dane) and Brauny (Weimaraner or as I call him 'wine marinater'). These three are so funny to watch running along the trails, but I think Paige gets the prize for the crooked run and the ears flopping all over. You can't help but smile and laugh at her..what a cutie! Sorry for the dog pics, but I'm a dog lover so the warning is out there that there will be an endless amount of dog photos (especially of Atti). Sorry, but you'll love them!

I LOVE Paige's ears...how can you not chuckle when you see this?

"You coming Braun? Come on hurry up". (wow I'm that girl that does captions for my dog..oh goodness!)

Atti going in for a nibble...

Just thought she was cute in this one.

FINALLY...a frontal view of Paige. I think she's shy when the camera is out, as this is the only face shot that I've gotten so far...yippeee!

Just a pretty fence.

Good sharing!

My Favourite Photos (from the past)

Here are some of my favourite picks of pics (of the past). I must say it's quite difficult to narrow down out of thousands of pictures but I've taken the ones that I love. And of course I'll be adding more and more...I told you I love taking photos...and dogs too!

Snow storm in Simcoe County Woods...heavy snow equals lots of fallen trees (sad but pretty).

Atticus' Nose

Cedar's Nose (starting to think I have a thing for dog's noses).

Spot of Sunshine at the Farm

Miss Sweet G's toys in her nursery

Cedar, and yup definitely love the noses!

This picture was for Julie who LOVES giraffes!

Kane the Border Collie (who has the most beautiful eyes).

Miss Paige (Great Dane)

View from the dock (my parent's house: Trout Lake, Corbeil, ON)

Winter Wonderland

Dan and I stayed at the camp in Redbridge, and woke to a beautiful sight of fluffy white stuff. So we hopped in the Jeep with Atticus and started out down the road; him to hunt for partridge and me for pictures. What a gorgeous time out in the beautiful white North!

Our track into the bushes; we were the only ones out that day and what a day it was! Just breath-taking!

Atti posing in the sun; what a good dog and subject for pictures. You'd think he'd be sick of this by now!

Our little family picture...Dan sporting the Movember 'Stache"..thank goodness it was for a good cause!

Beautiful snow covered glistening tree branches.

There is ALWAYS a need to stop for a quick picture of the Jeep.

My favourite picture of the day and perhaps of all times of Atticus. After playing and running beside the Jeep for hours..just love his tongue in this picture.
